Couples' massages

Couple's massages are unique opportunities for multiple reconnections.  As you reconnect with yourself you get to share that experience with another. As we have 2 tables set up right next to each other so you both can enjoy a relaxing calming massage in the same room together as we have an experienced massage therapist working on each of you at the same time. 

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Hot towels

These towels with help warm up the and loosen your muscles to allow for a release of tension and stress without adding extra pressure.

Cupping

The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite. A great enhancement for our clients who prefer deep tissue work. Chair Massage

Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.

BioFreeze

When you apply it to your skin, Biofreeze relieves underlying aches and pains caused by tight, sore muscles and by joints stiffened by arthritis.

Biofreeze is a topical analgesic that works by a counter-irritant effect — that is, it creates a cooling sensation in the area where it is applied, which replaces the painful feeling. A great enhancement for aches and pains at your request. 

Paraffin Wax

Paraffin wax is often applied to the hands and feet. The wax is a natural emollient, helping make skin supple and soft. When applied to the skin, it adds moisture and continues to boost the moisture levels of the skin after the treatment is complete. It can also help open pores and remove dead skin cells. Therapeutically, paraffin wax can be used to help relieve pain that people have in their hands.  Hand issues such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis can be relieved with this therapy. This is because the wax acts as a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness.
